Garagistic has a solution for your sagging, torn, or even MIA factory exhaust hangers for your E36 and other select BMW applications! We have for you a polyurethane E36 exhaust hanger designed to stand up to even the harshest conditions. More often than not the OEM hangers sit out of sight and out of mind, left to be forgotten until the exhaust begins to sag and move excessively. Unwanted movement of the exhaust system is the most common cause of cracked flanges and welds that produce exhaust leaks, and in the worst-case scenario can even cause your exhaust to scrape the ground or come off completely. This can lead to costly repairs and serious safety hazards so give yourself some peace of mind and replace those worn-out units with components designed to last a lifetime!
*Please note that our polyurethane is noticeably stiffer than factory new or worn OEM rubber mounts, and some additional NVH may be transmitted to the cabin when upgrading to polyurethane exhaust hangers.

Replaces OEM part number 18211723101 & 18201401797 found on many BMW Chassis.
Fits the following Chassis:
- 3-Series: E36 - (Will fit all models)
- 3-Series: E46 M3
- 3-Series: E90 M3
- 3-Series: E92 M3
- 5-Series: E39 M5
- 8-Series: E31
- Z-Series: Z4 (Only Fits M coupe, and M Roadster)
How to set up your new exhaust mount
"A" Configuration:
- E46 M3, E90 M3, E92 M3, E39 M5, Z4 M Coupe and M Roadster
"B" Configuration:
- E36, E31
The polyurethane bushing has two mounting points "A" and "B." Make sure that the correct mounting hole is lined up to the laser etching on the aluminum casing. We ship the mounts by default in the "A" configuration, which works for E36, E90, E92, E39 and Z4. If you are installing on an E36 or E31, you will need to switch to the "B" configuration. Make sure to take the metal race out of A and put it into B before installing the mount on your vehicle! The race is critical to be able to appropriately tighten the mount down.
