E36 Heavy Duty Billet Differential Brace

Overview

The Garagistic E36 Heavy Duty Billet Differential Brace for the BMW E36 reinforces the weakest point in the E36 driveline— the front differential mounting bolt. During hard driving conditions, especially in drift applications and cars that endure countless clutch kicks, the front differential mounting bolt is known to bend and break due to the excessive force being applied to it. Our differential mount secures the diff by adding a multi-point brace to distribute the forces from the drivetrain.

Made from a solid block of aerospace-grade aluminum, our differential mount is strong yet lightweight. It is also compatible with any OEM or aftermarket differential bushing and both standard M12 or M14 upgraded bolts. One of the reasons why the factory differential bolt will eventually break is because there is a loose tolerance between the bolt and the hole size of the factory bushing. We came up with a bolt solution that achieves similar results to the traditional M14 bolt upgrade without the need to re-drill and tap your differential.
