By reducing the amount of play and flex at the rear of the control arm the front suspension is able to hold better alignment throughout its movement. This translates to more predictable and responsive steering! The Garagistic E46 front control arm bushings feature a 2 piece design with a solid Delrin center sleeve and grease groove design. This helps to ensure a precision fit around the hex-shaped E46 control arm and also ensures that the bushing stays well lubricated to reduce any noise or squeak! Please Note: There are two types of E46 front control arms, a standard, and a heavy-duty (HD) version. The standard arm will have a 21-22mm hex snout and the HD arm has a 24-25mm snout. Please specify which diameter hex your car is equipped with so that we can provide the correct insert for your bushings. No modification or filing of your control arms required!
