OVERVIEW

Based on our very popular standard solid mount shifter, this is our Stage 2 Direct Mount" solid shifter with a carbon fiber shifter rod! If you would like this shifter with the standard aluminum rod, see this listing. This solid shifter uses the same components as our standard solid shifter with a few changes in design. The main change is that this solid shifter uses a flat plate direct mount style shifter plate that is required in Chassis like the E92 and E82. Those cars have Oval openings for their shifters. Simply use the 3 existing holes in the chassis for a 100% bolt-up installation that is completely reversible.

The Solid Mount design eliminates the inherent sloppiness of the OEM shifter, giving you complete control over your BMW's transmission. This shifter is also built to last, with a durable and sturdy construction that can handle even the most aggressive driving styles (comes with a lifetime warranty too!) The solid mount design ensures that the shifter stays in place, even under extreme conditions.

This also works for E30s, E36, E46, and most other BMWs. On those cars, you will see 3 small squares stamped in the trans tunnel where you will need to drill 3 holes and use the provided hardware to mount them. For those chassis, this version of our solid shifter is good for cars with damaged transmission tunnels or you want a little more piece of mind that the plate is bolted through the sheet metal of the transmission tunnel.

This solid shifter also comes with the V2 lower dssr connector which has precision bearings to make sure shifting is always silky smooth! Also includes a rubber gasket to make sure there is no corrosion between the sheet metal and solid shifter base!

Keep in mind: This is the only adjustable shifter on the market! You are able to move the pivot on this shifter to your exact preference to adjust the feel and throw!

Will this shifter fit my car?

• Fits: Fits most BMW chassis such as E30, E36, E46, Z3, E39, E34, and many more
• Does Not Fit: Not compatible with iX AWD MODELS

• E36/E46: Short rod height may be too short in E36/E46 due to the console design. See below for more info.

Fitment Notes

• In general, the longer the rod, the longer the shift throw will be, and the less notchy it will feel. While a shorter rod produces a shorter and more notchy shift throw and feel.
• It is important to note that due to the varying heights of center consoles in different chassis, certain size rods may be too small/large for you.
• For example, the E30 center console is shorter than the E36 center console so a short height shifter rod may be too short in an E36.
• Please Note: Some OEM BMW shifter rods have a very slight tilt, therefore some shifters will also have a slight tilt once installed.
