Garagistic Solid Shifter Rod - Carbon Fiber OEM Version

Overview

By far the nicest shifter rods in a carbon fiber finish available for Garagistic solid mount and supreme shifters: The carbon Fiber OEM rod! These rods are for our solid shifter and supreme assemblies only. These should only be bought for use with them as they will not work in any other application and will not bolt up to car. This is ideal if you have our solid shifter on your dual-purpose car. This OEM rod can use stock shift knobs and fit under stock boot. This shifter rod is the same height as the ever-so-popular Z3 shifter upgrade. The OEM slotted shifter rod features the same slot design that BMW uses so you can install any BMW shift knob onto our shifter.

The average Garagistic shifter needs ~12lb of force to shift into gear while most OEM applications will be less than that due to slop in the shifter components. These rods were tested at 50+lb of force and are able to handle rough/heavy shifts with no problem.
