XM V.I.P. Radiator mounts
We call them V.I.P. because they are very important parts. Radiator mounts might seem simple but they play an important roll in the lifespan of the radiator. Don't underestimate why the factory put these little parts in there!
Material
Our upper radiator mounts are made from cast alloy to keep weight and cost down over the expense of billet or fabricated brackets. Why cast? Once we make our mold and since we cast in house, we're able to produce the mounts far more efficiently then billet or hand fabricated. This means we can offer an engineered alloy part at a better price.
More then just a bracket
Producing in house also means we can offer a more complete product. We've also made our own mold for the isolator cushion as well. You could go buy expensive brackets somewhere else, but then you'd probably have to cut a piece of radiator hose for a cushion. Is that really the look you're going for?
Options
We offer our brackets in three powder coated finishes: Silver, Blue and Black Wrinkle. All come with our new yellow Urethane isolators.
